i GET IT provides numerous possibilities to customize the experience for the users. This article will describe the different customizations found in the Account Settings section of Account.
Set the Default Learning Tab
This setting allows you to set what tab under Learning is active by default to all of your account users.
- My Catalog (default): will open to the Catalog, which provides users the ability to select a category to find a course.
- Assigned Learning Paths: Select this option to show the users Learning Paths by default.
Controlling Access to the Catalog
This option allows you to control showing and hiding the My Catalog from the Learning section. This is a good option if you want to have users focus on Assigned Learning paths only.
Showing and Hiding Certain Categories for the Catalog
This option allows you to turn on and off certain categories from your users My Catalog view. , For example, if you are a CATIA user you might want to hide the NX content to avoid users utilizing that area. There options to control for both learners and authors view.
Controlling Home Dashboard Panels
This option allows you to control certain aspects of the users home dashboard, showing or hiding certain panels.
Send a Notification to Users
This option allows you to send a notification to the users that will alert them at the top of the navigation toolbar for when users are logged in.
Reset the Welcome User Guide
Each user will have the 'welcome tour' guides shown on their first log in. This helps walk through key aspects of navigating i GET IT. This option allows you to reset them for everyone, so they will be shown the welcome tours again on next login.
Upload a Custom Logo for your Company
A popular feature, administrators can upload a custom logo, image or graphic that will display in-place of our i GET IT logo in the navigation sidebar. That image will also show up in other certain areas, like customer login pages, course certificates and other places.
Visibility of Public Categories
This option is left over for legacy users, which when enabled allows authors to use our i GET IT public categories and topics.
