The following are release notes for the latest additions, changes, fixes and updates to i GET IT Learning.
Added Fast Forward/Backward Video Controls
Based on customer feedback, we have added new controls for our native video player. There is now a fast forward and backward controls that skip 15 seconds of video time (similar to what you see in Netflix or YouTube TV.) These new controls help customers quickly rewind to rewatch recent video clips or fast forward to specific points of time.
QnA Forums (Preview!)
Since COVID-19 took shape around the world, the delivery of training approaches changed dramatically. eLearning has been shoved to the forefront for customers to utilize during their training needs. But there are still missing abilities for instructors and students to communicate. Therefore, i GET IT has added a new function that will allow customers to ask questions about their courses for instructors to respond to (and in some cases, even peer students.) Our new QnA Forums will allow qualifying customers to post a question against their courses. The question will be put into a queue for assigned instructors and subject matter experts to respond to. Responses and solutions will then be made available to fellow trainees to search against for their own questions. This helps i GET IT build up a library of commonly asked questions that our i GET IT engine can then use to build better solution responses in realtime.
Initially, the new QnA Forums will be made available in a preview mode for all users but will eventually be made available to a premium level subscription.
Improved Sign Up Process
For i GET IT website, we have improved our new user registration process. The sign up form has been simplified and now requires email validation to avoid spam registrations.
Bug Fixes
i GET IT has fixed a couple bugs in this build that have been reported by customers. They are as follows:
- An unselected LinkedIn Profile Publishing option would create a hidden error and hide the course from the catalog. Fixed.
- A possibility of a corrupt profile could cause a login issue, caused by a missing selection for notification settings. Fixed.
